SlopSieve for your browser

What it does

SlopSieve adds a small verdict badge next to posts in your feed, labelling the ones that look like bot-generated, AI-generated, or low-quality content. Click any badge to see the breakdown — which signals fired, the account's score, the text's score, and the combined meta-verdict.

The goal is a quieter feed. You can leave badges on and just glance at them, collapse flagged posts to a single line, hide them entirely, or turn the extension off per-site.

Why it's different

• On-device scoringThe ML model runs inside your browser. Your feed is not sent to a server for scoring.
• Multi-platformOne extension covers X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Reddit (new + old), and Hacker News. Same verdict model, consistent badges.
• No telemetryNo analytics, no heartbeats, no third-party SDKs. Scoring makes zero background requests.
• Adjustable filteringStandard, Clean, Strict, or Off — pick how aggressive the UI treatment should be.
• No accountInstall and it works. There is nothing to sign up for.
• Opt-in remote featuresRight-click "Score selection" or "Inspect URL" to send one-off text or URLs to slopsieve.com for a prediction. Everything else stays local.

Install

• Chrome / Edge / Brave: Install from the Chrome Web Store.

Privacy

Scoring runs fully on your device. Nothing about your feed is sent anywhere as part of normal use.

Three features do contact slopsieve.com, and only when you explicitly invoke them:

• Right-click → "Score selection with SlopSieve" → sends your selected text (≤1500 chars) to slopsieve.com/score.
• Right-click → "Inspect URL with SlopSieve" → sends the current tab's URL and title to slopsieve.com/inspect.
• Flagging an account → sends the account ID, your label, and optional reason text to api.slopsieve.com.
